Support & FAQ — EquineAtlas Help Center

Question 1

What is EquineAtlas?

Accepted Answer

EquineAtlas is a platform for horse ownership and barn management. It gives each horse a lifelong digital home where health records, care history, pedigree, documents and important information can be organized, protected and accessed when needed. The horse is at the center of everything — records stay connected to the horse across owners, barns, professionals and life stages.

Question 2

Is EquineAtlas available now?

Accepted Answer

Yes. EquineAtlas is available on iOS and Android. You can download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Founding Member, Founding Horse and Founding Barn experiences are currently open.

Question 3

What can I do with EquineAtlas today?

Accepted Answer

Today you can create horse profiles, organize health and care records, store important documents, record pedigree and identification information, connect your Care Team, and link your horse to a barn — all while staying in control of your horse's record. Barn managers can connect with owners, organize horses by stable and stall, manage barn membership and access important horse information.

Question 4

Who owns my horse's record in EquineAtlas?

Accepted Answer

You do. An owner's horse record belongs to the owner. When your horse is connected to a barn, the barn can view and contribute to information they are connected to — but they do not take ownership of your horse's lifetime record. Your horse's history stays yours.

Question 5

Can I transfer my horse's records to a new owner?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. Secure ownership transfer is a future EquineAtlas opportunity. Our goal is to preserve the horse's permitted lifetime history through ownership changes without losing record continuity.

Question 6

What information can I store for my horse?

Accepted Answer

You can store health and care records, important documents, pedigree and identification information, care notes and other important horse information. You can also connect your Care Team — veterinarians, trainers and other professionals — so the right people have access to the right information.

Question 7

Does connecting my horse to a barn transfer ownership of the record?

Accepted Answer

No. An owner's horse remains the owner's horse when it joins a barn. The barn relationship does not create a duplicate horse record or transfer ownership. Barns and owners work together through EquineAtlas — each with the access and visibility they need.

Question 8

What can barn managers do in EquineAtlas?

Accepted Answer

Barn managers can invite horse owners to connect their horses to the barn, organize horses by stable, area and stall, manage barn membership, access important horse information for horses in their care, and create barn-managed horse profiles where appropriate. EquineAtlas helps barns manage memberships, connected horses, facility assignments and important horse information without taking ownership of an owner's horse record.

Question 9

What features are coming next?

Accepted Answer

Atlas Guardian is the next major intelligence layer being developed for EquineAtlas. It is being built in stages around record readiness, secure Care Card sharing, relevant environmental and official-source context, and clearer owner and barn attention workflows. Future opportunities such as ownership transfer and additional integrations will be prioritized based on customer evidence.

Question 10

What is Atlas Guardian?

Accepted Answer

Atlas Guardian is the next major capability being developed for EquineAtlas. It is in development and is not currently available in the app. When it is ready, it will add an intelligence layer to help owners and barns stay on top of record readiness, care context and important attention workflows. We will share more as it develops.

Question 11

Will EquineAtlas support event management?

Accepted Answer

Event-management capabilities are being explored as a future EquineAtlas experience. They are not currently available in the app. Features such as show-office workflows, stall reservations and entry management are future opportunities that will be considered based on customer evidence and platform readiness.
