Every horse has a story. From the moment of its birth through years of training, veterinary care, farrier visits, competitions, ownership changes, and retirement, that story often becomes fragmented across paper files, text messages, spreadsheets, and handwritten notes. We believe it deserves better.
EquineAtlas was created to provide every horse with a secure, lifelong digital home where its health, history, care, and important records, including digital horse passports, can be organized, protected, and accessed when needed. Today, EquineAtlas aids horse owners and barn managers with horse records management, documents, emergency contacts, care information, and collaboration through secure cloud technology available on both iOS and Android.
But our vision extends much further. We are developing what we call the Horse Intelligence Layer, a new generation of equine technology that merges trusted records with environmental monitoring, public disease intelligence, artificial intelligence, and secure information sharing to enhance equine health monitoring and assist owners in making informed decisions every day. Future capabilities will include environmental stress alerts, disease awareness, AI-driven care insights, emergency horse information sharing, digital horse passports, and secure ownership transfer, ensuring a horse's trusted history accompanies it throughout its life.
Everything we create is guided by a fundamental belief: technology should never replace experience. Instead, it should empower horse owners, barns, veterinarians, trainers, and other equine professionals to make better decisions for the horses they care about.
Whether you own one horse or manage an entire boarding facility, EquineAtlas is dedicated to building tools that help preserve every horse's history while making that information increasingly useful, accessible, and valuable over time.
Our mission is straightforward: to become the trusted lifelong intelligence and record platform for every horse.

Brandon Palmer
Founder & CEO
Brandon Palmer founded EquineAtlas with a simple belief: horse owners deserve modern technology that works as hard as they do.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, lifelong technology leader, and dedicated horse owner, Brandon combines over 30 years of enterprise technology experience with a passion for enhancing equine health monitoring and improving how horse owners manage and protect their beloved animals. Throughout his career, he has designed secure, reliable systems that support thousands of users and led large-scale technology modernization initiatives.
As a horse owner himself, Brandon experienced firsthand the challenges posed by fragmented horse records, health information, and barn communication. Essential data was often scattered across paper files, spreadsheets, text messages, and disconnected systems. He envisioned a more cohesive solution to streamline access to digital horse passports and comprehensive horse records management.
That vision became EquineAtlas.
Brandon personally funded the company's development from concept through the successful launch of its production iOS and Android applications. Today, he continues to lead product strategy, platform architecture, and the long-term vision of building the Horse Intelligence Layer, a platform designed to empower horse owners, barn managers, veterinarians, trainers, and other equine professionals to make more informed decisions through trusted records and intelligent insights.
Every feature is guided by one simple principle:
Build technology that helps people provide better care for their horses.
As both a technology executive and a horse owner, Brandon understands that every horse has a story worth preserving. His goal is to ensure that story remains secure, accessible, and valuable throughout the horse's lifetime.
